Tattoo Artist at The Old Republic Tattoo Company in Sacramento, CA with a love for combining all sorts of bits and pieces to create new and interesting ways to look at tattoos as art to adorn the body.
With both formal and informal training in Fine Art from a young age as well as a BA in Photography and extensive training in Graphic Design from Sacramento State University, Jocelyn entered into the tattoo industry with a large breadth of creative knowledge. She combines both tactile drawing, painting and photography with computer aided design to create tattoo designs for her clients. Through this process, an interesting mix of organic and graphic inspired designs has emerged. Jocelyn hopes to create a unique and creatively cohesive voice to her work as time progresses. Apprenticed and mentored here in Sacramento by Char Hall, Jocelyn's additional influences include the Buena Vista Tattoo Club, Xoil, Klaim, Ralph Steadman, Leroy Neiman, and Banksy.
